Calquer

Privacy

Your data never leaves your browser. No account, no servers, no analytics — period.

What Calquer collects

Nothing about you. Calquer has no backend, so there is no server to send data to. The rows you collect, your settings, and your run history are stored locally on your device using the browser’s own storage, and are only exported when you choose to download or copy them.

How it works on a page

When you activate Calquer, it reads only the content already visible to you in the active tab in order to detect the repeating list and collect its rows. It does not run in the background, does not watch other tabs, and uploads nothing.

Permissions, explained

  • activeTab — lets Calquer work on the current tab, only when you activate it. No background access to other sites.
  • scripting — injects the on-page picker so it can read the list you are looking at, on demand.
  • storage — saves your settings, the in-progress collection, and local run history on your device.

Calquer deliberately does not request host permissions or <all_urls>, so you never see the alarming “read and change your data on all websites” prompt at install.

No tracking

Calquer ships with no analytics or telemetry, and on Firefox it carries a “none” data-collection disclosure. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is collected.

Responsible use

Calquer only reads what is already on your screen — it does not bypass logins or site protections. You are responsible for using collected data in line with each site’s terms and applicable law. For a plain-English overview, see our guide on whether web scraping is legal.
